Did you know....

that some folks believe WI is "wine" country? ....we do have wide open spaces....
along with a basic stubborness rooted in settling the midwest...and we have dreams *VBS*
some times that's what it takes, a place, a determination and a dream.
And you thought all we had in WI was the Green Bay Packers and cheese **VBS**

Well, I know there is more to WI than that!! After all, it has YOU and Pat on the opposite side of the state too.

No, having lived there as a kid for a time, I know you have silos and those dairy cows that lead to the cheese. When we moved to IL, I asked my dad what happened to all the silos? He said that WI had dairy cows so the farmers needed silos to feed their cows. Farmers in IL might have cows but they were mostly the kind needed for meat so they ate in the fields.

I could never figure out why all those farmers were growing green beans either, LOL. Corn, yes but who wanted that any green beans, I thought. Later I finally found out they were talking about SOY beans. Townie, can you tell??
