I've lost a quilt........

now how can that be????? I have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, a laundry room and a living room/dining area combo! How can I possibly have lost the quilt I am quilting on??? Oh, I can find the SMALL ones, the broken dishes that still needs the border quilted. The chinese coins being done in baptist fans(ala Tonya). The little fish quilt that I'm embellishing, but I can't find the snuggle quilt in the hoop! How can THAT possible be where I can't find it??? Darn!! and couple of "Good Grief"s . I have a dr appointment this afternoon, so I must give up my search, but it leaves me perplexed and scratching my head. If I were a neat person, who folded things up and set them down...but I'm not. I bundle the whole thing together with the hoop inside the bundled ball and toss(or deposit) where ever I happen to be. Thus, the problem.I got a lovely little 4th of July package in the mail today from my buddy, Julie of JulieK Quilts. I'll snap a pic and share that tomorrow *VBS* Thanks for brightening up my day Julie! You rock!
As for pictures...gotta have one, right? So...another tiny peek into part of Finn's house....where do you suppose this all lives?

Wow! That is perplexing! You must have put it in a very save place! One can never find things that are put in a very safe place...at least I can't!!
I hope you find it!

Your "sewing" display looks so cute. I really like the blocks spelling out sew.

Sorry your lost quilt is not among my "mess" in my sewing room.

Finn, you are not the only one! Our home is not large...I have lost an entire Dresden plate quilt top! Lovely, hand appliqued....and missing! Enjoy your gifts, and happy Fourth!

Hope the Dr aapt went sucessfully.
I lose things all the time, -the 'others' sneak them away, then they put them back, where I have already looked!

Oh Honey I can so relate! When I depart this planet the folks left to deal with the "stuff" wil un-earth enough to open a store with. I gather your method of organization is similar to mine...roll in ball and toss. You made me laugh.

It is more interesting... what is that quilt doing while you're looking for her? She is probably hiding under the bed giggling! What you need to do is stand in a central spot and yell "Ollie Ollie in come freeeeeeeee"

then you'll find her!

A corner of your living room perhaps (the picture that is). That is perplexing taht you can't find the quilt - but I can NEVER find things when I put them somewhere safe - especially if the safe place is out of sight. Hope you find it and hope the drs. appt. goes well.

I've lost quilts in my hosue too! I live in a tiny house and took a twin-sized brick quilt into 2 baby quilts and now I just can't find them at ALL! So~I'm going to make them again, except in different colors. The lost quilt tops were in novelties/pinks/purples. The new baby/twin quilt will be in browns and yukky pinks. (You know the ones that are "in" right now.) I'll be praying that you find your lost quilt, 'K?
