'Tis the season.....

for all sorts of things *VBS* Snow, bitter cold, holiday happenings, etc. I'm slowly bouncing(well maybe not bouncing)back from a Thanksgiving cold bug. As some of you know, I have chronic lung disease, and at times breathing is a challenge. Venturing out into the cold brings on a whole new set of problems...so I've stayed very close to home.
I wish I could say I felt good enough to sew, but for the most part, I haven't. My recliner and old movies have been fairly constant companions for two+ weeks now. I did manage to get a snuggle quilt pinned and machine quilted over the weekend. Now to get some binding on it. I have some pillowcases to make for gifts, and just about enough time to get that done. Here's hoping no holiday bugs find any of you *VBS*

Very pretty card and I love your banner but it's very cold every time I scroll up top there! brrr... You know, I didn't know you had difficultly breathing. I'm glad to know you've been reclining and indulging in one of my favorite things - old movies! Rest is good for whatever ills we have as the body needs us to be it's own constant companion. Indeed I understand that. Still, you're a hard "bug" to keep down! Not sure what to think about that. Guilty of it myself so I'll simply say "hats off" to us for having enough of a passionate streak in us to keep going.

Hey, Finn:
Best wishes for you to have a complete recovery! Lucky you have quilts to keep you warm.

I have finished two more UFOs, so I'm up to FIVE since early November. Still hope to get to nine

I've been wondering if you have been 'under the weather'. Take care, friend, and get better.

Oh my, that's a long time for a little bug to stick around. Hope you feel better soon and can enjoy your Christmas. Karen

Keep snuggled down 'til the quilting bug bites you and not that darn cold one! ((hugs, hugs, hugs))

Bugs can be dangerous for folks like you so I hope you were under the care of some professionals--wouldn't want you to be getting pneumonia! My brother used to get severe bronchitis or walking pneumonia every winter working outdoors at his auto repair business but he is more careful to seek treatment earlier now. Take it easy and don't push yourself to activity too quickly, a relapse would be the worst!

Sending many, many hugs your way. Hope you're feeling better soon. As Michelle say, stay snuggled under that quilt until the quilting bug hits you. Rest is essential when you aren't well. Hugs and love
