a perfect time to make that mug of tea and sit and sew *VBS* And I am!
10 a.m. and Ebby continues to complain about the size of her 8:30 feeding. Her record is 2.5 hrs before she gave up and went to sleep. She's still here, by my side, waiting...just in case I forgot that I fed her.
Cooler days this past few days, and feel of autumn is in the air here in the Valley. Very soon the school bells will ring again, another autumn, another year. Missing my Candy Corn Bandits....ALOT!!!
Baby H is growing up, too fast for me. The BIG 2 in July. She is the only granddaughter that carries the family name. She is an adorable imp, a chubby cherub in a pink dress. All girly, this one is. Love her and her big sister K to pieces *VBS*

I'm happy, like so ,amy others, that you are communicating with us again, Finn!
I spent some time this summer making confetti or mile-a-minute blocks. Made me think of you.
Sara
Cooler weather - we have had a couple of days of it....just in the high 90's - but that feels better than the 100 plus we had for many days.
The kiddos are so cute!
Gorgeous family. I have no grandchildren yet. I do hope one day... Have fun sewing and just take it one step at a time, one fabric scrap at a time.
Darling little imps, indeed! Love how Ebby is so determined to hold her place in your life...no matter what she has to do to get your attention! Oh, I am such a softie. She would be one overfed plump puss at my house..I miss my little black kitty so much! I look at all four of these darling faces, and they ALL make me melt!!!
OH would you please send some of that rain here...100+ degrees again today!!
I'm flat out jealous of the cooler weather. We've been getting rain, but it only makes things muggier!
Darling grandchildren!
Your grandkids are soooo cute! Enjoy the cooler weather, hopefully it will make its way here eventually, whew what a hot summer it has been. Looking forward to seeing what you are working on these days!
Wonderful pictures. It's been cooler here the last several days as well and I've been thinking of fall. BUT, it's supposed to be upper 90s by Sunday...summer is going to kick in again, it sounds like.
Ebby is looking wonderful and so are the grandchildren. I'm anxious for fall to arrive. We have had a hot, hot summer and I'm ready for cooler temps.
Finn, those grands of yours' are adorable!! I am so glad you snuggled in with Ebby and sewed yesterday. I spent the afternoon with a friend and I did some knitting and also teaching her how to hand-sew and make pincushions. I am slowly getting back to my fabric. Still having heart issues/meds but have decided to just go for all of the things I love most with gusto and not worry about! :D I have so sorely missed you and I do have pictures that I want to share with you. Just haven't spent much time on the computer lately, even to upload photos. But I will...Love to you and Ebby (she's is such a beauty!!).
It has not rained here since May, but that is typical for us. The hills are so very very brown.
My cat eats for two minutes and wants out. Later she wants back in to eat for a couple more minutes. Then she wants out. In, eat, out. I do NOT play door monitor but she would like me to!
Your little grandsonss look adorable snuggled in the quilts and smiling in the photos. Sweet girl--totally irresistable, no wonder you love her to pieces!
