and today isn't either. Actually there is no truth lurking there. It's Tuesday, sunny but cold and we have a TON more snow than this picture shows.
The picture is from another time, same place, but a day long gone by. I'm in a really not good head space today. Family situations, sadness and some heartbreak, all front and center. I'm happy to welcome March as she prances in on February's heels. Interesting to me how little color there is in the colored picture I posted. The Rainbow Challenge color for March is green. At least I can be happy and excited about that *VBS*. I'll be back as soon as I can.

I'm sorry to learn things are tough for you right now... and the dreary weather isn't helpful, is it? Hang in there and know that I'll be praying for you...
Hey Finn,
We are all here rooting for you. Focus on some positive things and let the other stuff sort itself out.
Hi Finn,
I wish I could send you some color to brighten your day- The weather here in Alberta is similar with big piles of the white stuff and temperatures that are cold. We keep hoping that spring is just around the corner but I fear it is more likely a good ways around the bend, down the hill etc
I will look forward to see your projects brightening your page soon. I know you will find your quilting bug and it will feed your creative spirit. Hang in there.
With warmest regards,
Anna
Oh Finn, I'm so very sorry to hear that you're having a rough time right now. I hope it all resolves itself quickly, and that the sun will be warming you, that there will be gentle breezes to clear your mind, Ms. Ebby to love you unconditional (along with *us* your family here in blogland), and happy hours ahead of you with fabric and flowers. Love and Hugs, my dearest Finnie.
Sending you some sunshine from FL to brighten your day. It is also for Ebby and hope she soaks it up while purring in your lap.
First you were gone and then I've been out of commission for a while... Glad to see you're back posting again :- ) Sorry to hear you've got unhappy things to deal with in your daily life. I'm always wishing the best for you.
I signed up to make a Wrapped in Hope birthday quilt too. Fortunately it's not due until December; my quilting mojo seems to be on an extended vacation. You are one of the first places I visit to get re-inspired!
I've had some nice time on your blog - you make great quilts :-)
hey stranger...you always find fun groups to quilt along with or an idea that is a joy to play with...you have been in my thoughts all this year...and finally I stopped in to catch up..we know this too shall pass but sorry to hear it is not so much fun at the moment-big snuggly hugs...Cher
Sorry to read you are not having wonderful days, but remember Spring is around the corner. Hopefully sunshine and blossoms will cheer you up. Take care.
Hope you're doing okay! I don't comment much, but I lurk you all the time, and miss you when you're gone, Finn. ;) Hang in there.
totally off topic...reading all the posts and the one on the damaged quilt. i made my son a very beautiful quilt inspired by the comet "hiukataki" that passed over kauai years ago...not that long that it should be shredded already. and it was all the bali batiks that had worn away. this scares me since i am a total bali junkie and have tons of them and use them alot in my quilts. they were all hoffman batiks, not cheapos, so this doubly concerns me. they use a nice cotton lawy, switched from the pimatex they used to use becaues i think too many quilters complained how hard it was to sew thru, anyway, your fabric was black poly, mine was batik...scarry yeah......
