to come out of the water, as the old saying goes...oh no!! It changes! Same thing seems to happen with quilts. I thought I was DONE with this orphan block top, but apparently not. Yesterday, while cutting scraps into usable sizes, I found 4 MORE of blue checked center block beginnings! AND, since there was ONE blocks left from the original batch of 26, I now have enough to add one more row to the top. It's about 50" square at the moment, and I wouldn't mind it being one row longer...so I've begun adding the "go-rounds" to those blue centers, LOL, yup, just when you think you're done! Happy stitching everyone XXX

Ha, those fabrics never seem to get gone, do they? I have some in my scrap bag that have been there since Noah's Ark!
Isn't that the way things go? I looked and looked for this special thread I bought for quilting a certain quilt. I found the bobbins but not the cone. Why weren't they together? I started quilting it in another thread and, you guessed it, I found the original thread. No, I didn't rip out. I just continued.
So very true. Love how the quilt is turning out though. Hugs
So great to see you posting again, Finn. Hope you're feeling lots better also. You're going to have a pretty quilt when it's finished!
Hello Finn, I just arrived here whilst blog-hopping (you know how that goes!).
I enjoyed reading your back posts and seeing what you make. I think we are rather kindred spirits, with our scrappy quilts.
I often think it is a shame my blog friends don't all live in my town, what great visits we would have!
