Another UFO....this Aunt Gracies differs from the pastel one I showed last month only in that there are equal amounts of stars and 9 patches. In the pastel one, I worked out the placement of "random" stars. This one, I just wanted DONE! The red strips on the right will be border, and that VERY old Aunt Gracies in upper right(one of the first ones) will be the binding. This was also sewn together over the weekend...the blocks has already been made.

Oh,I love this, especially the colors but the arrangement too. I started a mystery quilt some time ago using these stars and have revised it a couple times and think maybe I'll get it out again. My original didn't have nine patches. I know I tried a couple things but am not even sure what they were now. Got to look at it soon. Thanks for getting me thinking quilts!
Oh, I like this one! The 30's fabrics usually seem so pink and sugary and sweet to me ... and I'm just not a sweetie person! I'm better with some red mixed in.
Jeanne :)
the colors are so pretty ! I love the 30's fabric. They remind me of a quilt my great grandmother made for my sister when she was born.
Oooh, the red stars make this quilt sing.
over the weekend and the other top too? Finn, I want to be "you" when I grow up, LOL.
Seriously, a wonderful quilt. Gotta love those darker 30's all together.
What a lovely quilt Finn :-)
This is a great quilt. Without the close up and the commentry I wouldn't have guessed it was 1930s. The colours are fab :)
