I think my favorite is the one with the Uncle Sam hats!! That's pretty cool. Nice to see some newer red and blue 30's repro's. I never seem to find all that many great reds in the 30's prints. Very cool quilt!

Another gorgeous quilt. Actually Finn, you have inspired me. I have posted a picture of a quilt I started hand quilting after I had seen one of your great quilts, and I used the same design. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

I got done so late with my day's project that I didn't back around the "rings" till now. What a treat to see the 30's quilt!

I've got friendship stars on the brain as well. 24 inch blocks from a swap a "kadzillion" number of years ago to do something with but Cher is supposed to do it as well. I've got the EQ file resized now so maybe that will be today's project: one for me? I can't work up much enthuasiasm for the applique I need to do or borders on a not square top I drug home either.

why don't they let us edit our typos? make that 24 6 inch blocks. Dang, half the keys on the upper row are sticking so forget about using the dash, underline and certain numbers right no.

I'm getting inspiration from you too... :) I was looking for ideas for a patriotic quilt, and those stars would be easy to do in a variety of sizes.... Thanks!
