And almost last, I embroidered his name, the year and my name as quilt maker across the top. It still amazes me how much it thrills kids to see their name incorporated into something.

What an heirloom this will be. I think it warranted hand quilting for that special little boy. Such memories it must bring back! It's beautiful.
