the Patience Corner block. I see that I was mistaken in saying it was also called Bright Hopes. It isn't a Bright Hopes block, that one adds a strip to ALL four sides. This one just adds it on two sides. I used the 5" squares I got in the swap "as is" and added 2" strips of white. Note the placement to get the
look you want. The block finishes at 12" when joined up to the others.
Feel free to right click the picture, and save it to file if you care to. I know it's old enough to be in the public domain. Glad you like it..*VBS*

I really like the look of this block. If you hadn't mentioned that you add strips to only two sides I would never have guessed how it was put together.
Thanks for the special attention! I feel so special!
I messed that block up before....
Too Kool.. I love the look... Re: my phaff's phantom behavior.. The dealer has it again after being cleaned last week. She feels it's either the computer or the motor.. Patiently waiting to hear.. Only 11 months old so under warranty..Big hug to you for your comments on my site..
Perfect for nickel squares...or using up the stash...or whatever! It makes a perfect Christmas-inspired quilt! I can imagine that it would look terrific in any sort of fabric collection.
And I just knew that you were stitching up something terrific, Finn!
Finn, I have never seen this pattern before (VBG)love seeing something new :O).... neat looking I think... it would be great for fabrics that you wanted to show case a certain thing in the print.. the squares would be a great size for that... will remember this!!!
No matter the name, the results are the same. JUst Wonderful.
The quilt is fabulous Finn! Love all the christmas colors and the geometric-ness of the design!
