On a Friday in the Valley....

A new doll quilt top. I need to find a piece for backing and baste it up for hand quilting.
Progress on the new Orange Crush Mystery that Bonnie has going. I need to make 'progress' faster...LOL, almost time for Part 2.
A whole new project, involving LOTS of blue, and shirts from a friends deceased DH. I had been going to do the Pineapple Passion from Quiltville, but lack enough shirt variety to do that. More to report later as I make progress.
And for those who asked about not seeing Ebby for awhile, here she is, doing what she does best *VBS*....snooze. Eating would be #1 if I would co-operate. PLaying happens, but only on occasion, when the spirit moves her.

I found your blog by following links, really enjoying it. It's a wonderful idea to make a quilt with a loved one's clothing.

Finn, your weather has arrived here! We were in the 70's yesterday and today rain and wind for the weekend. I'll be putting the kettle on and heading for my machine and some 9-patches for my mystery quilt. Don't worry, friend, spring will come eventually!!

Love, love, love the little 30's doll quilt. I talk a pretty mean game when it comes to 30's fabric and heaven knows I have enough of it -- but nothing finished to completion. Maybe I just need to start small. LOL!

Love the start to all your projects. I need to get motivated this afternoon. Ebby looks so content there.
Take care,
Kris
